I strayed from my creative calling briefly by diving into finance and taking several detours. Through major life experiences I found my way quickly back to differing artistic expressions. I come from a line of creatives in my family who were centered around writing, painting, and music. My great grandmother M.K. Lomax is a major inspiration in continuing the tradition to explore expression through sculpting, mixed media, and painting.

I often find a deep and multifaceted connection to nature, which can evoke a range of emotions and foster a sense of well-being. From the awe and wonder of a beautiful vast ocean, the peace and serenity of running water, to the sometimes lost joy and playfulness we had as children splashing around for hours. My goal is to recreate those emotions by freezing these elements and capturing them in art, invoking a sense of creativity, connection, and inspiration.

I have experience in a range of mediums, although I have my own particular preferences that I keep coming back to. My current collection consists of capturing varying bodies of water through clay and resin sculptures. If my style speaks to you, I’d love to work with you in the future.
